New Zealand's legendary batter Kane Williamson showcased remarkable form before the Champions Trophy, slamming a fabulous century in the high-voltage game against South Africa in Lahore. After Matthew Breetzke's flamboyant century propelled the Proteas to 304, Williamson struck a fabulous ton, helping New Zealand claim the driving seat.

Chasing a challenging target of 305 runs, New Zealand lost Will Young cheaply, with Eathan Bosch getting his prized scalp for 19 runs. Coming at number three, Williamson steadied the ship with Devon Conway, eventually bringing up a scintillating century inside 72 deliveries.

This is Williamson's 47th international century, as he equalled South African legend AB de Villiers on the list of batters with the most hundreds across formats.
