In the latest development, Punjab Kings' (PBKS) skipper, Shikhar Dhawan is back in the playing XI and will lead the side against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Friday.

Dhawan suffered from a shoulder injury and missed the last three matches for the Punjab Kings.

In Dhawan’s absence, Sam Curran lead the team and helped them win two matches out of three.

Who won the toss?

Dhawan called it right as PBKS won the toss and elected to bowl first. At the toss, Dhawan stated that his shoulder has gotten better and he is raring to go against LSG.

For PBKS, Matthew Short is excluded from the playing XI, and the hero against LSG in the last match, Sikandar Raza makes his way back in the side. Also, PBKS have handed debut cap to Gurnoor Singh Brar.

Talking about LSG, they lost a close-game against Gujarat Titans last time around and will be looking to get back to winning ways. Rahul stated that dew will come in as the game progresses, making it difficult to bowl.
