India found themselves stumbling at 45/3 at the end of the powerplay, struggling to find their footing as Bangladesh seized early momentum.

With three wickets down, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Rinku Singh stepped in, carrying India’s hopes on their shoulders. Taking their time to find their rhythm, the duo soon started picking apart Bangladesh's attack.
As they settled in, boundaries began flowing freely, breathing life back into India’s innings. The pair went ballistic as India raced to 101/3 by the halfway mark, taking Bangladesh’s bowlers to the cleaners.
Reddy soon reached his maiden T20I fifty in just 27 balls, making it look effortless as he peppered the stands with sixes. His sensational 74 off 34 balls, featuring four boundaries and seven maximums, left the opposition reeling.
However, his fireworks came to an end when Mustafizur Rahman got him in the 14th over, but not before he had put India in the driver’s seat.

As the innings entered the final stretch, Rinku brought up his half-century in 26 balls, keeping the pressure on Bangladesh. Hardik Pandya and Riyan Parag added the finishing touches with quickfire cameos, Hardik smashing 32 off 19 and Parag contributing 15 off just six balls.
