The 2nd T20I between India and Bangladesh is underway at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. Bangladesh won the toss and asked India to bat first. Their decision proved to be a masterstroke as they took three wickets within the powerplay.

Sanju Samson was the first one to depart in the 2nd over of the match. Meanwhile, Abhishek Sharma too couldn't score big as his off-stump was sent cartwheeling by Tanzim Hasan. All eyes were on skipper Suryakumar Yadav, who looked in great touch in the first match. However, SKY failed with the bat and returned to the pavilion with a score of 8 (10), which featured a solitary boundary.

Mustafizur Rahman Gets Suryakumar Yadav

For the 2nd time in this series, Mustafizur Rahman got rid of the Indian skipper. This time around, Rahman tricked Surya with an off-cutter. Yadav was surprised by the lack of pace on the delivery and handed out an easy catch to Najmul Shanto at mid-off on the 3rd ball of the 6th over.

Suryakumar Yadav Fails to Equal Virat Kohli's Feat

Talking about Suryakumar Yadav, the 34-year-old was eyeing a personal milestone as he had the chance of equalling Virat Kohli's feat of becoming the joint-fastest Indian to 2500 T20I runs.

SKY, who has played 72 matches for India in T20Is before this match, had 2461 runs. He just required 39 runs in the 2nd T20I to level Virat's feat, who also took 73 matches to reach this feat.
