The Mumbai Indians will battle it out against the Royal Challengers Bangalore in the 54th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 at the Wankhede Stadium.
The two teams are languishing at the mid-table, with 10 points each. The points table is stacked up and both the sides will be eager to take the 2 points from this contest.
Interestingly, both MI and RCB have lost their last match, and will be looking to change the fortunes when the game starts in the evening. RCB suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of the Delhi Capitals. A Phil Salt assault tore them apart as the RCB side looked lacklustre with the ball in hand.
On the other hand, MI were completely outplayed by rivals CSK in their previous game. Barring Nehal Wadhera, no one else performed with the bat as the five-time IPL champions surrendered under pressure at the Chepauk.
