Team India suffered a humiliating defeat at the hands of England in the semi-final of the T20 World Cup on Thursday. The Men in Blue were never really in the contest as they lost the game by 10-wickets and bowed out of the tournament.

England's opening duo of Alex Hales and Jos Buttler shared an unbroken opening stand of 170 as they chased down 169 with 4 overs to spare.

Now after the Indian team's exit from the World Cup, legendary batter Sachin Tendulkar took to his Twitter account and reckons that the fans should keep on backing the Indian side no matter what happens.

What did the Master Blaster say?

"A coin has two sides, so does life. If we celebrate our team's success like our own, then we should be able to take our team's losses too. In life, they both go hand in hand."

Skipper Rohit was dejected after the loss

"It's pretty disappointed how we turned up today. I thought we still batted pretty well at the back end to get to that score, but we were not good enough with the ball. It was definitely not a wicket where a team can come and chas the target in 16 overs. With the ball we didn't turn up today," Rohit said in the post-match presentation.

England will now face Pakistan in the final of the T20 World Cup on Sunday.
