India are missing a bowling coach, India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur said after her team lost against Australia in the third T20I of the series on Wednesday.

India women's side are not having a full-time bowling coach as Ramesh Powar was moved to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) and Hrishikesh Kanitkar was named the batting coach two months prior to the women's T20 World Cup.

However, Harmanpreet is pleased with how her bowlers are taking charge of the situation.

"I know we are definitely missing a bowling coach but our bowlers are taking charge. They are participants in the meeting. They have full responsibilities and today it was all their plans and I was just supporting them in the middle."

The skipper also stated that having Pooja Vastrakar injured for the series is a big loss for her side.

"We are missing Pooja for sure. On this track, you need a medium pacer. She has the experience of death bowling. We tried Meghna in the first two games but it didn't click."

With the win in the third T20I, Australia have taken a 2-1 lead in the 5-match series. The fourth game is scheduled on Saturday.
