Bangladesh is set to host New Zealand for a three-match ODI series with the first contest taking place on Thursday, September 21st at the Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur. With hardly two weeks to go for the World Cup, this series will mark the last set of games for both the teams before flying to India.

Bangladesh are coming into this series falling short to qualify for the Asia Cup final. However, they managed to secure a morale boosting win against India in their last fixture by just six runs in a last over thriller.
Heading into this series, Bangladesh has announced a 15-member squad to take on the Kiwis. Captain Shakib Al Hasan has been rested alongside some of the regular names, considering the World Cup in India. Litton Das will be leading the side in Shakib's absence.
Veteran opening batter Tamim Iqbal, who was recovering from a back injury, has been announced fit to play in this series. Mahmudullah Riyad and Soumya Sarkar are another two notable inclusions in the squad.
