The Falcons were faced with a challenging target to chase, and their top-order struggled against high-quality spin bowling from Pierre, Noor, and Chase. Although Green and Springer were able to form a fifty-plus partnership, the pace of their innings meant they had too much left to do at the end. Despite a valiant effort from hitters Allen and Primus, time was not on their side, and the Kings emerged victorious in their final league game, marking the fifth instance of a team winning while batting first this season. The Falcons kept picking up wickets at regular intervals and never the Kings off the hook. A late cameo by David Wiese helped the Kings to a fighting total.
