Ex-KKR Star Predicts RCB's XI, Expects 'This' Bowler To Be Dropped Against Delhi Capitals

Today, Royal Challengers Bangalore will take on Delhi Capitals in their fourth group-stage fixture of the ongoing Indian Premier League season. After annihilating five-time champions Mumbai Indians in their first game, the Faf du Plessis-led outfit succumbed to two successive defeats and will, therefore, look to bounce back by winning this match.

Meanwhile, former Indian opener Aakash Chopra has opened up on RCB's possible playing XI for this high-octane face-off.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Chopra, an ex-KKR player, reckoned that RCB would likely add Sri Lankan leg spinner Wanindu Hasaranga to their squad, replacing him with David Willey.

The cricketer-turned-commentator also expected South African speedster Wayne Parnell to retain his place in the starting XI.

"You would want to play Wanindu Hasaranga if he is available, which means bye-bye David Willey. I see Wayne Parnell still playing. The question will be whether there should be a place for Karn Sharma if Wanindu Hasaranga is back. I feel you can play with two leg-spinners."

Furthermore, Chopra opined that Delhi Capitals might bring Riley Rossouw back into their playing XI and promote Axar Patel to bat up the order. However, he expected the David Warner-led side to suffer their fifth consecutive defeat.

"You might see Rilee Rossouw play because batting does not have the might. You will be at a great loss if you don't get Axar to bat up the order. But I feel Bangalore will win this match and Delhi will be handed their fifth defeat."
