The 15th match of the ongoing inaugural edition of the Women's Premier League (WPL) will see Mumbai Indians Women (MI-W) play against the UP Warriorz (UP-W). The contest is scheduled to be staged at the D.Y. Patil Stadium, Navi Mumbai on Saturday, March 17.

The Mumbai-based unit have been the most dominating team in the competition so far. They are yet to lose a match. Having played five games, the Harmanpreet Kaur-led side have won all of them. Their latest win comes against the Gujarat Giants in a reverse fixture where the home side defended 162 runs successfully by 55 runs.

On the other side of the spectrum, the Uttar Pradesh-based unit have had a topsy-turvy campaign so far. Having played five matches, they've won just two of them and lost the remaining. The Alyssa Healy led side started the campaign on a positive note but unfortunately arrives from back-to-back losses. With three more much in their list, the Warriorz need to win at least two in order to strengthen their qualification chances.

With the tournament progressing to its business end, the surface is wearing out, eventually assisting the spinners to a greater extent. The pacers enjoy some nibble at the start of the powerplay with slower ones proving as an effective weapon. Although it isn't difficult to notch up runs, the batters need to be watchful and bat sensibly.
