The second edition of the SA20 kicked off on January 10 and the following day will stage two of the finest teams of the tournament in a riveting battle at Kingsmead, Durban. The Durban Super Giants will square off against MI Cape Town and the game is slated to begin at 9:00 PM IST.
The Super Giants finished with 19 points from ten matches with four wins and five losses last season. They failed to get to the playoffs after ending up in the fifth position. Meanwhile, the Cape Town-based franchise ended up at the bottom of the table with just 13 points from ten matches. They won three matches and lost seven of them. They will be captained by Kieron Pollard this year after Rashid Khan failed to get medically clear to be available for the competition.
This will be the first game for both sides in the tournament and they will look to kickoff with a winning note.
