The second match of the first doubleheader in 2024 Pakistan Super League will see Multan Sultans square off against Karachi Kings at the Multan Cricket Stadium, Multan. The action is slated to begin at 7:30 PM IST.

The Karachi Kings ended up fifth in the last edition of PSL with three wins from ten matches, acquiring just six points. Meanwhile, the Sultans went on to challenge the defending champions in the final of PSL but ended up short of edging past them.

The surface in Multan tends to be a flat track that suits the batter. However the fast bowlers gets a bit of movement under lights and some occasional slower ones can work in favour of the bowlers. All in all, the batters should enjoy here.

Daniel Sams(KAR): The Australian cricketer had a good time in the Big Bash League this season and will look to transpire the good form in PSL. He has the ability to vary the pace smartly with the ball and can befuddle the batters. Sams can also turn out more than handy with the bat in hand

Leus du Plooy (KAR): The dashing batter single-handedly stretched Joburg Super Kings into the playoffs of SA20 2024 a few weeks back. He can be dangerous on flat batting conditions and can go berserk on his day.

Usama Mir (MUL): The right-arm leg spinner can be crucial during overs 7-16. He will be looking to check runs and create opportunities for wickets in a format where the wrist spinners have had a good share of success. Mir can also come up with additional quickfire if needed.

Hasan Ali (KAR): The right-arm pacer recently had international experience in the World Cup 2023 and Pakistan’s tour of Australia. Although he did not have a great time with the ball, Hasan could be lethal on home conditions.

Dawid Malan (MUL): The English batter can be threatening at the top of the order for Sultans. Once upon a time he was the No. 1 T20I batter as per ICC but somehow has lost his good form. However, Malan did play some impactful knocks in the SA20 League for the champion side and will look to get better hereon.
