In the PCB’s central contracts list, Babar Azam is in the A category in all three formats. The contract pays him around Rs 5 lakh monthly, according to media reports. He is also one the highest-paid players in the Pakistan Super League, where he earns Rs 20 lakh approx. each season.

Reports estimate Babar’s net worth to be close to Rs 32 crore. He owns a luxurious home in Lahore, as well as a large collection of cars and bikes. Babar has consistently ranked among the top batsmen in ICC rankings across formats. He made his international debut for Pakistan in 2015, and since then, he has become a linchpin of the team's batting lineup. He has a batting average of 47.74 in Tests, 59.17 in ODIs and 41.48 in the shortest format.
