India's head coach Gautam Gambhir took a break from cricket duties to post an emotional birthday message for his wife Natasha Jain, on Saturday, July 26. The sweet gesture came while Gambhir was busy with the Indian team during the ongoing fourth Test match against England in Manchester.

While Gambhir remains focused on his coaching role with Team India, his personal post reminded fans that family always comes first, even in heated cricket wars.

Gautam Gambhir Sends Birthday Wish To The Love Of His Life

On July 26, Gautam Gambhir posted a special picture with his wife, Natasha Jain, wishing her on her birthday. Natasha turned 41 on Saturday and has often stayed away from the public eye, but Gambhir’s post gave fans a glimpse into their warm relationship.

Posting on Instagram, Gambhir wrote a simple yet touching message: “Many many happy returns of the day, my dearest… you make life worth it!”

The post quickly gained love and attention from fans. It featured a lovely picture of the couple and reflected Gambhir’s deep bond with Natasha, whom he married in October 2011. The couple has two daughters, Aazeen and Anaiza.

Back on the field, Gambhir is standing dangerously close to another Test series defeat under his tenure as head coach. After losing the Border-Gavaskar Trophy in Australia earlier this year, India is likely to lose the 4th Test and the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy against England.

Gautam Gambhir is under heavy criticism as India struggles in the fourth Test against England in Manchester. Fans on social media have blamed the head coach for the team’s decline, especially after England posted a massive 544/7 in response to India’s 358. 

Several have blamed Gambhir for pushing senior players such as Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma into premature retirement, overlooking in-form players, and making adverse team choices. Some even demanded his resignation, terming his coaching career as similar to previous mishaps in Indian cricket. With India behind in the series, pressure is mounting against Gambhir to produce results and prove himself worthy as a leader.
