India Or Pakistan? Astrologer Predicts Team With Higher Chance Of Winning Asia Cup

India, as expected, made a dream start to their Asia Cup 2025 campaign and defeated the UAE by nine wickets in their first match on September 10, 2025. The Suryakumar Yadav-led side will next face Pakistan, and ahead of the much-awaited match, famous scientific astrologer Greenstone Lobo has offered a cautionary prediction for the 'Men In Blue'. 

The renowned astrologer predicted that despite India being the favourites to win the tournament among fans, the tournament could bring surprises, with teams like Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka all possessing astrological strength to become champions of the Asia Cup 2025.

Astrologer Greenstone Lobo Names Asia Cup Winner

In an interview with the TimesofIndia.com, Lobo predicted the winner of Asia Cup. He also highlighted Suryakumar Yadav’s astrological chart, suggesting it is suited for success on the grandest stage. 

“When we talk about winning tournaments, predicting a major tournament like a World Cup is actually easier. But it becomes a little more difficult to predict which team will win an IPL or a T20 World Cup. And it's even more difficult to predict a smaller tournament like an Asia Cup,” he said. 

“He (Surya) has got a phenomenal chart. Pluto is in nascent exaltation, Neptune is very powerful. Planet Z is in its own house. That’s a very strong indication he's going to do well,” Lobo observed.

However, it is important to note that Lobo added a word of caution and mentioned that, according to planetary alignment and astrology, India's energies indicate more global achievements and developments than regional dominance. 

Lobo Predicted Pakistan As Astrologically Favourites For Champions

Lobo pointed to Pakistan’s T20I captain, Ali Agha, as a dark horse with a "phenomenal chart." He explained that if it's a direct battle between Suryakumar Yadav and Pakistan’s Salman Ali Agha, the latter might hold the edge in this tournament.

India has started the much-awaited Asia Cup 2025 on a high note, winning the match against the UAE, and is currently at the top of the points table (group A) with 10.483 NRR. On the other hand, Pakistan will start their campaign against Oman on September 12, 2025.
