In an exciting clash that brought the magic of Hogwarts to the cricket pitch, actors Tom Felton and Matthew Lewis, famous for their roles as Draco Malfoy and Neville Longbottom in the Harry Potter series, faced off in a Harry Potter-themed charity cricket match.

The match, which pitted Slytherin against Gryffindor, ended in a nail-biting finish, with Lewis’s Gryffindor team clinching victory by just 1 run.

Tom Felton, who played the notorious Slytherin student Draco Malfoy, took to Instagram to share his defeat with his fans. In a light-hearted post, Felton cheekily remarked, "Bloody Longbottom," capturing the spirit of friendly rivalry that highlighted the event.

Felton, dressed in a black T-shirt and a grey cap, sported his signature Malfoy smirk in one of the photos, while Lewis, donning a white Gryffindor T-shirt, grinned like a true champion. In another picture, the two actors shared a laugh as they displayed the camaraderie.

The charity cricket match was organized by former stunt performer David Holmes, who has been a driving force behind such events for years.

Holmes, who was paralyzed during the filming of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 1 in 2010, has channelled his passion into organizing these matches, with proceeds going to the hospitals that played a crucial role in his recovery. The event also saw Holmes posing with both Felton and Lewis.

Meanwhile, Tom Felton has been keeping busy in the acting world. Last year, he appeared in the psychological thriller 'Some Other Woman' and is set to star in the upcoming film 'Altered'.

He will also make his debut in an Indian production, portraying a British officer in Hansal Mehta’s historical series Gandhi. On the other hand, Matthew Lewis recently starred in the BBC One dramedy 'Avoidance'.
