The Punjab Kings are ruling the IPL 2025 with their consistent shows and brilliant on field displays. In the ongoing last game of the league stage of the tournament against the Mumbai Indians, Josh Inglis has led the team to a comfortable stage with a brilliant half-century. 

Notably, the Punjab Kings will be happy that one of their overseas recruits is putting up his hand in a crucial stage. But they will also be concerned about his availability during the playoffs. 

Is Josh Inglis A Part Of The Australian Squad For WTC 2025 Final?

Notably, the next assignment of the Australian Men's side is the WTC 2025 final where they will face South Africa. The squad that has been announced for the match includes Josh Inglis in it.

Given his presence in the squad, there is a chance that Australia calls for him for the preparation of the big game. The WTC final will be played from the 11th of June, 2025. So, it could be that they call him before that so that the team gets a good time to practice.

However Josh Hazlewood, who is also a part of the Australian squad will be available for RCB durig the play-offs and the final. Since, Josh Inglis is playing an equally important for the Punjab Kings, it can be expected that the Australian wicketkeeper will be available for the franchise in the business end. 

Moreover, the IPL 2025 final is scheduled for 3rd June 2025. So, Inglis would get about a week to gradually shift himself from T20 cricket to Test cricket. Hence, apparently Inglis will be available for the Punjab Kings during the play-off.
