WI vs PAK | 4th T20I: When & where to watch Live, Probable XI, Fantasy XI

The Pakistani team would look to seal the series with a 2-0 win in the fourth and final game of the 20 over format at the Providence Stadium in Guyana. This would somewhat relieve them of the pain that they had to go through with a 3-0 whitewash from a second-string English side in the ODI series and then the 2-1 loss in the following T20I series. After all, a series win against the World Champions doesn’t come easy.

However, to achieve that, the West Indian might have to be challenged and although they are experimenting with their Playing XI to find the right balance ahead of their title defence in November this year, the Men in Maroon are still dangerous. They narrowly missed out in the second T20I, but won’t miss many chances.

If weather permits, which it looks like doing as far as the forecasts are concerned, a crackerjack of a game awaits people.

West Indies vs Pakistan: Match Details

Pitch Report

The pitch in Guyana might have something on offer for the bowlers while the batsmen would face some trouble in putting up a big total. So, if you win the toss, elect to field first and restrict the opposition for a lesser total.

Weather Forecast

The rain gods seem to be pleased and might keep the rain away for this final game of the T20 leg of Pakistan’s tour of the West Indies. Two T20Is have already been washed out of the four. At the time of the start of the game at around 11:00 am the chances of rain dip down to 29% and keeps decreasing as the time progresses, meaning that a 20 over game would finally be completed.

TNPL | Nellai Royal Kings vs Dindigul Dragons: Where to watch Live, Probable XI, Fantasy XI

In the matchup between the bottom-placed Nellai Royal Kings and the second-placed Dindigul Dragons, the Dragons, even after losing their last game against the Chepauk Super Gullies would fancy themselves to cross the line in this one and get closer to the Playoffs qualification mark. The Kings on their part have seen one win and a washout in their four games, losing the rest of the two. They have three points on the board and are last in the table, but just one win here would suddenly get them equal points with third-placed Madurai Panthers. With the likes of Baba Aparajith, Indrajith and Sanjay Yadav on their side, the Royals could actually think of and win this game against Hari Nishanth’s Dragons. But will they be able to do it, only time will tell. Nellai Royal Kings vs Dindigul Dragons: Match Details Match Number: 21 Date and Time: Friday, August 03, 2021, 07:30 pm IST Venue: MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai Broadcast / Livestream: Star Sports/ Hotstar Pitch Report The Chennai pitch is wearing out slowly and high scoring games are becoming rare to find. Although with humidity and ample rain, some replenishing of the wear and tear is being done, even after being mostly optimistic, the wicket would remain slow and a tight match with scores in the range of 150-65 would be in the sight. Weather Report The sky would remain partly cloudy, but there are not many chances of rain, in fact, that cloud is only going to add to humidity as the temperatures would remain in the mid-thirties throughout the duration of the game. The humidity will help the slower bowlers as not much dew would be found on the ground. England tour of Bangladesh postponed indefinitely, paves way for English players availability in IPL

England’s team tour of Bangladesh, which was supposed to begin from mid-September has now been postponed indefinitely. Reports suggest that it was the decision of the Bangladesh Cricket Board and a Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) can not be ruled out either considering that mid-September also marks the start of the second leg of the Indian Premier League. The England Men’s team Director of Cricket Ashley Giles had earlier said that the English players will either be part of the tour program to Bangladesh or will take a rest instead of playing in the IPL because of injury concerns. Now that the BCB seemed to have postponed the tour, giving Covid-19 protocols as the reason, it also paves way for English cricketers to participate in the IPL as it would be the ideal preparation for the World T20. However, with this postponement and English players potentially playing in the IPL becoming clearer, it would be interesting to see if England’s Pakistan tour goes as planned. The English Men’s and Women’s teams are to play two T20Is on October 14 and 15. But with the start of the World T20 opening ceremony being very close to those dates and quarantine norms yet not finalised, will England take the risk? According to Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Ehsan Mani, the tour is still on. “Wasim Khan has been in discussions with the ECB and agreed on the tour arrangements with Tom Harrison. As far as we are concerned, the visit is going ahead,” he was quoted as saying by Daily Mail UK.

ENG vs IND | Mayank Agarwal ruled out of first Test with concussion

India’s batting woes do not seem to end as another player has been injured and ruled out of the first Test against England starting August 4 at Trent Bridge Nottingham. Mayank Agarwal was concussed trying to duck a bouncer from Mohammad Siraj in the nets. It has been reported that he fell down at the batting crease and was attended to by the team Physio before walking out holding his head from behind. This has now posed problems at finding the opener for the team in the first Tets as the top choice openers to partners Rohit Sharma, in Shubman Gill and Agarwal have both been ruled out. Whether or not the team would opt to go with KL Rahul as an opener is a question that could best be answered when we see the team sheet. The Karnataka batter played at number five in the practice match at Durham and scored a century and has been primarily been looked at middle-order batter. The other two options with the team are Hanuma Vihari and Abhimanyu Easwaran, who was brought in as reserve player. While Easwaran has opened in domestic cricket, Vihari has been used as a stop-gap opener many a time. Ajinkya Rhane, the team Vice Captain ruled out Cheteshwar Pujara batting as an opener saying, “Pujara is our No. 3 batsman. Who'll open our innings we are again finalising our combination, it's not yet finalised. Pujara has been really solid for us as No. 3 batsman and he'll continue to bat at No. 3.” "As [far as] opening bat [goes], the captain, coach and management will decide the combination and you'll get to know soon,” he added in a press briefing on Monday, August 2. However, there was good news for the Indian team as well when Rahane said that he was ready to play in the first Test as he has been declared fully fit. "I had a small niggle but I'm fully fit now," he said. "Whatever the physios and trainers asked me to, I've completed all those stuffs. I'm looking forward to the Test match. I'm completely prepared.”
