West Indies and India will play in a dead-rubber in the 5th T20I on 7th August in Florida.
Suryakumar Yadav has been in impressive form in T20Is
Impressive performance from the Indian side in the fourth T20I ensured they gained an unassailable lead in the 5-match series. On the back of an excellent bowling spell from Arshdeep Singh, who claimed 3/12, India hammered the Windies by 59 runs.
Put into bat by Caribbean skipper Nicholas Pooran, India, after an impressive start, reached 191 in their allotted 20 overs after the match was delayed due to rain. West Indies, in return, could only manage 132 after Avesh claimed 2/17 and won man-of-the-match for his performance.
Spotlight: Deepak Hooda
With a classic hundred in the second T20I against Ireland, Deepak Hooda was well into the spotlight. Scoring 104 from just 57 balls with nine fours and six sixes, Hooda justified why he was in the team.
On the back of impressive IPL performances, Hooda was drafted into the Indian side. Playing 15 matches and accumulating over 450 runs for Lucknow Super Giants this year, he also notched up four half-centuries in his best-ever season.
Handy off-spinner who chips in as a sixth-bowling option, he has been a utility member for any side he plays for. The right-handed middle-order batter has the hard-hitting strokeplay required to be a successful finisher in the blue jersey for India.
