MI's Struggles In IPL 2025
With Mumbai Indians failing to find rhythm in the tournament, they would might look at some of their options in the squad. Arjun Tendulkar is one of the options that Mumbai Indians have. But as the situation stands, there is a slim chance that the seam-bowling all-rounder will play for the five time IPL champions.
Notably, Arjun Tendulkar is a left-arm seam bowler and a left-handed middle order batter. He mostly bowls with the new ball in the powerplay and whenever gets a chance to bat does the job in the lower middle order.
Arjun Tendulkar's IPL Records
In the first two games, Mumbai Indians did struggle for form in the powerplay bowling and in the finishing with the bat. Despite the sepecific problems, they are not yet looking at Arjun Tendulkar as a replacement.
In the five matches that Arjun has played in the IPL, he has picked up 3 wickets while conceding runs at an economy of 9.36. With the bat he has just 13 runs at a strike rate of 144.40. In these matches, he did not show much promise and that is a reason MI are staying away from him. However, given the roles he can play MI can look to give him a chance in the near future.
