The T20 Mumbai League is set to return with its much-anticipated third edition, promising high-octane domestic cricket action featuring some of Mumbai’s brightest stars. Organised by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), the tournament will run from May 26 to June 8 at the iconic Wankhede Stadium.

The MCA has officially announced the eight India internationals who will serve as icon players. The list includes Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, Ajinkya Rahane, Sarfaraz Khan, Shardul Thakur, Prithvi Shaw, Shivam Dube, and Tushar Deshpande. 

How Many Teams Will Participate In T20 Mumbai League?

The T20 Mumbai League will feature eight franchises: North Mumbai Panthers, ARCS Andheri, Triumph Knights Mumbai North East, Namo Bandra Blasters, Eagle Thane Strikers, Aakash Tigers Mumbai Western Suburbs, along with two new teams, SoBo Mumbai Falcon and Mumbai South Central Maratha Royals. 

Before the cricketing fireworks begin, all eyes will turn to the player auction scheduled for May 7. Among the most anticipated names are emerging talents like 17-year-old Ayush Mhatre, whose impressive performances in the ongoing IPL have caught the attention of fans. 

Joining him as marquee attractions are Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Tanush Kotian, and Musheer Khan.
