The highly-awaited player draft of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2025 season has been postponed by a couple of days by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB). Originally set to be held on January 11, the drafting event will now be organized on January 13.
Last week, the PCB also unveiled a change in the picking order of the players for the PSL 2025 draft. Marking the tenth edition of the tournament, the PSL 2025 season itself will launch from April 10 onwards and will run until May 25. It is worth noting that PSL seasons tend to conclude by either February or March every year, however, a change in its 2025 scheduling can be attributed to Pakistan’s obligation for hosting the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy.

The PSL 2025 player draft will take place on Monday, January 13. The event will commence from 1:00 PM IST onwards for the viewers in India.

The PSL 2025 player draft will be hosted at the Huzoori Bagh in Lahore, Pakistan. The PCB had originally intended for the event to be hosted in Gwadar before rescheduling the same due to logistical challenges.
