India’s cricket stars, Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and Ravindra Jadeja have been the backbone of the team, delivering outstanding performances and keeping the team strong. As their careers near the final phase, it’s hard to imagine Indian cricket without them.

Recently, the trio played a key role in India's victory at the Champions Trophy 2025 in Dubai on Sunday. Amid ongoing retirement rumors, Rohit Sharma clarified in a press conference that neither he nor Virat Kohli plans to retire anytime soon. Ravindra Jadeja also shut down speculation by posting on Instagram: "No unnecessary rumours. Thanks."

This statement made it clear that he isn’t stepping away from the game either. Reports suggest that all three might continue playing until the 2027 World Cup, which will take place in South Africa, Zimbabwe, and Namibia in October and November 2027.

However, fans are eager to know when they will next play for India in ODIs. While they will be seen in action in the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025, which kicks off on March 22 and runs until May 26, India have not yet announced its next set of white-ball fixtures. This means there is no official confirmation on when these Men in Blue will return to the ODI format.

It’s worth mentioning that Rohit, Kohli, and Jadeja retired from T20Is last year after winning the T20 World Cup 2024 at Bridgetown.
