Virat Kohli unveiled his lighter side again on the cricket field with some song and dance at the Feroz Shah Kotla ground in Delhi on Wednesday (October 11).

As the modern-day legend returned to his home turf for India's second game of the ICC World Cup 2023, he was seen entertaining the packed crowd between overs by dancing to the DJ's tunes.

Kohli was caught dancing in the break during the early exchanges of Afghanistan's first-innings batting effort. Even the scorching afternoon in the national capital couldn't play barrier to the exuberant Delhiite enjoying his time out in the middle and showcasing his amusing dancing skills one more time.

The 34-year-old, who seems to have gained no years in terms of fitness standards and by heart, didn't shy away from revealing his child-like happiness at revisiting his home city. The West Delhi lad entered the dance mood and warmed the hearts of cricket lovers present at the historic ground in Delhi.

Based in Mumbai now with his young family, Kohli would've felt an emotional reconnect upon comeback to his birthplace and thus couldn't hold back his excitement and dancing skills whilst the DJ at the Feroz Shah Kotla entertained the jam-packed stadium.

A heartening clip of Kohli dancing during India's fielding effort to the DJ's tunes was captured by one of the fans from behind the fence and shared on Twitter before it went viral amongst the legend's tremendous fanbase.

Kohli would've been especially content to visit Kotla at its most scenic ever since the ground underwent refurbishment work and was given a more aesthetically pleasing avatar for the World Cup.

When he turns up in Delhi, Kohli also gets to soak in the proud moment of an active cricketer being hailed with a stand named after him. The world cricket giant was honoured with the stand in September 2019 for his remarkable contribution to the world game.
