The Indian cricket team, after winning the T20 World Cup 2024, has returned home after they faced unforeseen delays due to Hurricane Beryl in Barbados. The team flew back on a chartered Air India flight and landed in Delhi on July 4.
In the morning the 'Men in Blue' met PM Narendra Modi at his residence in Lok Kalyan Marg in New Delhi for a special breakfast and celebration of the historic win. After the meeting, Team India travelled to Mumbai for the iconic open bus 'Victory Parade'.
Amidst all the excitement and celebration, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently shared a 'Special Thank you' video as the fans and cricket lovers gathered in infinite numbers at the Marine drive to witness their heroes and join them for this historic victory.
