The Hundred’s caravan moves to Wales for the first time as Sophia Gardens readies to welcome the newest and most exciting format of the game. The home team Welsh Fire which recorded a thrilling win away from home against Northern Superchargers in its first game would welcome Southern Brave, who lost their first match in a disappointing manner away from home to Trent Rockets.
While Southern Brave will look to find a way to go past the Fire from Wales which has stars like Jonny Bairstow, James Neesham, Glenn Phillips and hero from the last game, Afghan 20-year-old Qais Ahmad.
Southern Brave have stars of their own in Devon Conway, James Vince and Colin de Grandhomme and if Quinton de Kock is done with his isolation period having joined the squad from across the border Ireland, then he can also start in the XI for the team.
The major question remains about Jofra Archer’s match fitness and if he is fit to take the field then Brave will back themselves to get their first win.

Sophia Gardens will be hosting a T20 game after having hosted Sri Lanka in two games earlier this season and in both those games the pitch was two-faced it was difficult for the teams to score fast. However, since the match is a 100 ball format and runs are its blood in the veins, chances of a change in the behaviour of the pitch are more than expected.
While it is going to rain during the day in Cardiff, but by the time the match begins at 06:30 pm in the evening, the chances of rain comes down to less than 30% and hence a full game is expected without much interruption from nature.
