The 16th game of The Hundred will be between the sides that have had middling performances so far in the competition and they find themselves in the middle of the points table.
The Welsh Fire have won two out of three games this season while the Oval Invincibles have managed to win only one game out of an equal number of matches played.
However, the Fire have ridden on the charismatic bat of Jonny Bairstow, who is all set to miss the remainder of the competition having been brought back to the England Tests squad.
It would be interesting to see if the Invincibles will be able to lift their game in absence of their captain and one of the biggest match-winners in Bairstow. They would bank on the trio of Tom Banton, Glenn Phillips and captain Ben Duckett to win them games from hereon.
For the Invincibles, Jason Roy and Sunil Narine have not quite got in the groove yet to turn games on their own. They will also be helpful for Sam Billings’ continuation of good form. The wicketkeeper-batsman has had scores of 49 and 3 in two out of the three games and the Invincibles will be relying on the trio of Roy, Narine and Billings to lift their game.

Pitch Report
The pitch at the Oval should be a batting-friendly track and stroke makers from either side should love the prospect of hitting the ball through the line. However, there will be a long boundary on one part of the pitch, and that can dictate the bowling and batting tactics on Monday night.
