Northern Superchargers will take on the Southern Brave in the 31st match of the ongoing Men’s Hundred competition in Leeds, Headingley, on August 31st.
We are at the back end of the tournament with only one day remaining in the league stage.
Northern Superchargers is already out of the tournament after winning just three out of the seven games they have played so far. They are placed sixth in the points table and are out of the race to a top three finish.
The Faf du Plessis-led side started the season well with a win at the Old Trafford but could not carry the momentum going forward. They suffered three consecutive defeats after the first game and could never come back to go up the ladder.
However, they are coming into this game with a win over the Welsh Fire. Heading into their final league match, the Superchargers will be looking to carry on the winning form and finish the season on a high.
Southern Brave, on the other hand, could not repeat their first season’s brilliance and are out of the competition even before their campaign ends. They are placed just below the Superchargers in seventh position with three wins in seven matches. However, the defending champions have managed to catch some form lately and come into this fixture with two consecutive wins.
Can James Vince and his men make it three wins in a row to finish their campaign on a high?
