Kyle Phillip, the fast bowler from the United States, has been suspended from bowling in international cricket after his bowling action was deemed illegal by the ICC's event panel. The suspension came into effect immediately following the report from match officials after USA's match against West Indies in the World Cup Qualifier on June 18.

In that game, Phillip took 3 wickets for 56 runs in a losing cause. He had also played in USA's match against Nepal earlier in January but did not feature in their game against Netherlands on Thursday as Ali Khan returned after serving a two-match suspension for a code-of-conduct breach.

Upon reviewing footage of Phillip's action, the event panel concluded that it violated the regulations outlined in Article 6.7 of the ICC's regulations for the review of suspect bowling actions. As a result, Phillip's suspension will continue until he undergoes a reassessment of his action and receives clearance.

Phillip, 26 years old, has represented the USA in five ODIs, claiming six wickets at an average of 40.83 and an economy rate of 6.04.
