Northamptonshire Steelbacks vs Durham

Chris Lynn (83) belted Durham's bowlers all over the ground as Northamptonshire set up a 31-run victory over Durham. Lynn's brutal strokeplay and his 149-run opening partnership with Ben Curran (71) propelled the Steelbacks' total to 223/4.

Lynn's knock of 83 was studded with four fours and eight sixes. Curran, too, was not to be left behind. He found the boundary twelve times, with one maximum. Australia's Ashton Turner took two wickets for Durham.

In reply, Durham depicted a fight, but it did not prove enough. Graham Clark top-scored with 54 off 30 balls. Freddie Heldreich took three wickets and gave only 22 runs in his quota of four overs.

Brief Scores: Northamptonshire 223/4 (Chris Lynn 83, Ben Curran 71, Ashton Turner 24/2) defeated Durham 192/10 (Graham Clark 54, Freddie Heldreich 22/3) by 31 runs

Lancashire Lightning vs Yorkshire Vikings

Harry Brook's heroics went in vain as Yorkshire tied the game with their traditional rivals, Lancashire. After winning the toss, Lancashire put on 183/7 on the board in 20 overs. Philip Salt's 59 and Tim David's 35 were instrumental in Lancashire posting a challenging total before the Vikings.

Yorkshire had a horrible start to the chase as they were reduced to 56/3 in 6.3 overs. However, Tom Kohler-Cadmore (67) and Harry Brook (72) resurrected the innings and instilled hope among the Vikings.

Brook's purple patch did not seem to end as he pulled his team out of deep waters. However, with one run required off the final ball, Richard Gleeson trapped him in front of the stumps.

Brief Scores: Lancashire 183/7 (Philip Salt 59, Tim David 35) tied with Yorkshire 183/5 (Harry Brook 72, Tom Kohler-Cadmore 67)

Derbyshire Falcons vs Birmingham Bears

Birmingham survived a late scare from Derbyshire to win by three runs in a close encounter. After a rather sedate start, the Bears blasted 89 runs in the final five overs to push the team's total to 200.

Adam Hose (55 off 31) and Chris Benjamin (43 off 18) hammered the Falcons' bowlers at the death to give the Bears a great chance of winning.

Derbyshire never looked in the chase as they lost wickets at regular intervals. They were stuttering at 99/6 in 12 overs. Then, Brooke Guest and Mattie Mckiernan began their counter-attacking game.

Mckiernan went back in the 17th over on 26, bringing a flourishing partnership to an end. Guest continued to keep his eyes on the target but fell to Craig Miles. The latter held his nerves to clinch a thriller for his team in the final over.

Brief Scores: Birmingham Bears 200/6 (Adam Hose 55, Chris Benjamin 43*) defeated Derbyshire 197/8 (Brooke Guest 54, Jacob Benedict Lintott 30/2, Danny Briggs 30/2) by 3 runs

Worcestershire Rapids vs Nottinghamshire Outlaws

Luke Fletcher's five-wicket haul helped Nottinghamshire Outlaws to restrict Worcestershire Rapids to 164/9. Then, Joe Clark struck a fluent half-century at the top, and Tom Moores scored 47 in the middle to clinch a convincing four-wicket win for the Outlaws.

Brief Scores: Nottinghamshire 168/ 6 (Joe Clarke 52, Tom Moores 47) defeated Worcestershire 164/9 (Colin Munro 66, Luke Fletcher 32/5) by 4 wickets
