Pakistan’s middle order batter Shan Masood showered praise on the England cricket team for their spectacular win in the third T20I at the National Stadium in Karachi.

England's middle order batters Harry Brook scored a 35-ball 81 not out while Ben Duckett cracked an unbeaten 42-ball 69 to lead their team to an impressive 221-3 in their 20 overs. The hosts in response fell 63 runs short of their highest-ever total chase in the shortest format of the game as England’s Mark Wood and Adil Rashid bowled exceptionally well, claiming three and two wickets respectively.

Making a comeback in their playing eleven in the ongoing series, Masood shone with the bat in the third game of Pakistan’s seven-match T20I series against England, reaching 65 not out off 40 balls, but needed support from the other end to transform it into match-winning innings.

In the post-match media talk, Masood credited the visiting team for their all-round effort to register a thumping win on Friday.

"We must give credit to England for the way they played. First how they batted especially Ben Duckett and Harry Brook and then their bowling in the powerplay, the way Reece Topley and Mark Wood bowled and got our top order out was outstanding,”  Shan Masood said after the third T20I.

Masood confident of England's fightback in the series

Masood is hopeful that the home side will learn from their mistakes and come strong in the next game which will be played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

“When you’re playing against a top side, a quality side then they’ll always come up with their best game. We have to learn from our mistakes and make sure that we don’t repeat them. The way we played in the 2nd T20I, we have showed that we can achieve any target."
