Sanju Samson wasn’t a part of the IPL 2025 mega auction pool as Rajasthan Royals retained him for INR 18 crores. 

As a captain, the wicket-keeper batter wasn’t just the team’s first retention but also played a major role in formulating a strong auction plan. 

Apart from Samson, RR also retained Dhruv Jurel, Riyal Parag, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shimron Hetmyer and Sandeep Sharma.
