SA20 League: Paarl Royals Full Squad

Paarl Royals secured the services of 17 players, with five of them being overseas in the SA20 Auction on Monday (September 19). 

Royals will be based out of Paarl, a city in the Western Cape Province of the country. The home venue for the team will be Boland Park. 

Ahead of the auction, the Royals had already signed Jos Buttler, David Miller, Obed McCoy, and Corbin Bosch. Most importantly, Miller was chosen as the captain of the side for the 2023 edition, given his successful leadership with Barbados Royals in the ongoing CPL.

Royals bought experienced batters Jason Roy and Dane Vilas, while also grabbing an astute leader, Eoin Morgan. 

They have a quality bowling unit, with the addition of Lungi Ngidi and Tabraiz Shamsi, with McCoy being the pre-signed pick. 

The likes of Wihan Lubbe and Mitchell van Buuren were rewarded with selections for their impressive performances in domestic cricket.
