As the excitement builds around the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, Dream11 has rolled out an innovative and engaging campaign titled 'Poora Fan Bano' to rally support for the Indian Women’s Cricket Team.

The campaign, launched ahead of the Women’s Cricket World Cup, encourages cricket enthusiasts to become full-fledged fans, embracing both men’s and women’s cricket with equal fervor.

The campaign features star cricketers from both Indian men’s and women’s teams, with Indian men's team captain Rohit Sharma taking center stage alongside captain Harmanpreet Kaur and leading batters Smriti Mandhana and Jemimah Rodrigues.

The humorous ads shine a light on cricket fans who solely focus on men’s cricket, calling them 'Aadha' (half) fans, while a true 'Poora' (complete) fan supports the women's team with equal enthusiasm.

In the latest development, Rohit Sharma has shared the post on his social media (Twitter). Rohit Sharma’s presence in the campaign adds additional gravity to the message, as does his call to fans to fully support the women’s team ahead of the T20 World Cup 2024.

The campaign's main purpose is to encourage and promote both men's and women’s sports. Also encouraging fans to extend the same support to the women’s cricket team as they do to the men’s.

The campaign arrives at a crucial time with the Women’s T20 World Cup 2024 already underway. India is set to take on New Zealand on October 4, with Harmanpreet Kaur’s side looking to improve upon their previous performances in ICC tournaments.

Having finished runners-up in the 2020 Women’s T20 World Cup, as well as the 2005 and 2017 ODI World Cups, the Women in Blue are determined to make history by claiming their maiden ICC title.
