Shaheen Afridi Accused By PCB Official: Report
Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Afridi has been accused of not following proper instruction of the team management at the 2025 ICC Champions Trophy. As reported by Cricket Pakistan, an official made a claim at the PCB meeting, stating that Afridi was specifically asked to bowl yorkers at certain junctures of the tournament by Pakistan coaches, however, the senior fast bowler stuck to his own game plan instead.
As it turned out, Shaheen Afridi picked up just two wickets in Pakistan’s winless 2025 ICC Champions Trophy campaign, at an expensive bowling average of 71 no less.

The dazzling opening batter confirmed that at the moment, Team India is only focused about winning the impending Champions Trophy final.
