Quinton de Kock Reaches 'This' Massive Record; Joins Kohli, Babar Azam, Gayle in the Elite List

Quinton de Kock has been one of the leading batters in world cricket for a long time now. He has made massive impact across formats and along with international cricket, he has been a big player in franchise cricket too.

Now, in the LSG-MI game, Quinton de Kock has crossed a significant landmark in T20 cricket. While opening the innings against LSG, he crossed 9000 T20 runs and joined the elite list of batters like Babar Azam, Virat Kohli, Gayle. He became the sixth fastest to reach that landmark and the fastest to get to 9000 T20 runs is Babar Azam. He achieved that feat in 245 innings while Quinton de Kock got those runs in 298 innings.

Talking about the MI-LSG game, Quinton de Kock scored 16 runs off 15 balls on a difficult batting deck at Lucknow. He, however, was outfoxed by Piyush Chawla and this was just his third game in the 2023 season. He scored fifty in his first game and would be looking to make a big impact in the coming game.
