In a significant development, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) released the PSL 2025 schedule earlier this morning. Shaheen Afridi's Lahore Qalandars will face Shadab Khan-led Islamabad United in the first match of the tournament.
Peshawar Zalmi PSL Schedule 2025
Led by Babar Azam, Peshawar Zalmi will kickstart their Pakistan Super League campaign with a high-voltage clash against Quetta Gladiators in the second match of the tournament. After that, they will take on Islamabad United in their second game before crossing swords against Multan Sultans, Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars in their subsequent affairs.
The sequence of Peshawar's second round games will be a little different from that of the first round matches. The Babar Azam-led outfit will face Quetta, Islamabad and Multan before taking on Karachi and Lahore in successive encounters.
Thus, the Zalmi will play ten PSL matches unless they qualify for the knockout stage, which comprises four matches - Qualifier, Eliminator 1, Eliminator 2 and Final.
They will play five league-stage matches in Rawalpindi, while the venues in Karachi, Multan and Lahore will host five of their matches collectively.
