For the unaware, the President’s Trophy, originally known as the Patron’s Trophy, is a historic domestic cricket competition in Pakistan. First held in 1960–61, it featured teams representing government departments, corporations, banks, educational institutions, and other organizations. The tournament was discontinued after the 2018–19 season but was revived in 2023–24 as part of a renewed focus on departmental cricket.
