Pakistan Super League have released the list of local players in the Gold category for the upcoming PSL draft.
The draft is scheduled to take place in Karachi on December 15. The tournament will take place from February 9 to March 19 in Karachi, Multan, Rawalpindi and Lahore.
A total of 43 players, including some renowned ones, mark their presence in the list. Some are presently featuring for the Men in Green in the international circuit as well.
Shadab Khan, Mohammad Wasim Jnr, Shoaib Malik, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Abdullah Shafique, Babar Azam, Mohammad Rizwan, Iftikhar Ahmed and Haris Rauf were retained by the franchises.
Some prominent players like Imam-ul-Haq, Saud Shakeel, Junaid Khan, Kamran Akmal, Mohammad Irfan, Yasir Shah and Ahmed Shehzad have put up their names in the PSL draft.
The defending champions Lahore Qalandars will choose the first pick , followed by Quetta Gladiators, Multan Sultans, Karachi Kings and Islamabad United in the PSL drafts.
Earlier, the tournament released the list of foreign players for the draft as well. Shakib Al Hasan, Alex Hales, David Willey, Dawid Malan, Moeen Ali, David Miller, Adil Rashid, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Wanindu Hasaranga, Kieron Pollard, Mujeeb ur Rehman, Mohammad Nabi, Martin Guptill are some top players registered for the tournament.
