Babar Azam will lead Pakistan in Asia Cup 2023 [Source: Twitter]
One of the best batters, Pakistan's all-format skipper Babar Azam remains a hot topic on social media. On Monday, a rumour regarding Azam's impending marriage floated on social media.
As per buzz, Azam was scheduled to marry after the upcoming ICC World Cup 2023 in India, a claim that now has been rubbished by his family members.
As quoted by Cricket Pakistan, a close family member of Azam refuted such claims of marriage and maintained that cricket remains the 28-year-old's only focus.
Saya Corporation, who handles Azam outside cricket, also posted on the social media platform 'X' and laid down all rumours to rest.
"The earth-shattering news of Kaptaan Babar Azam's wedding in November is completely fake. In fact, this is a ‘news’ for even him and his family. Kindly avoid sharing the unverified news. Thank you 🙏"

Prior to the World Cup in India in October, Azam will lead Pakistan in a short-ODI series against Afghanistan and then the Asia Cup 2023.
Personally, Azam has been in rich-form, having amassed 261 runs in the ongoing Lanka Premier League (LPL) 2023 for Colombo Strikers, who got eliminated from the competition last evening.
