Australia had a struggling start to the proceedings on Day 1 of the third Test in Lahore after Shaheen Afridi rattled the top-order with some fascinating bowling display. He first trapped opener David Warner in front of the stumps for 7 off 13 in the third over on a length delivery that came into the left-hander.
He then removed Marnus Labuschagne for a two-ball zero. The right-hander was caught behind by Mohammad Rizwan, two balls later after he edged one from the left-handed pacer while driving a touch fuller delivery from the bowler. At the time of writing, Australia were 26/2 with Usman Khawaja and Steve Smith at the crease.
The two-match series hasn’t seen any result so far after the first two Tests ended in draws.
