Northern Superchargers (NOS) reigned supreme in a clash against Manchester Originals (MNR) in Match 13 of the Women's Hundred competition at Headingley, Leeds. 

Laura Wolvaardt's scintillating knock of 90* off 49 helped Superchargers chase down the highest-ever total in the Women's Hundred. 


Deandra Dottin powers Originals to a strong total

Opting to bat first, Originals had a quick start with a knock of 40 off 27 balls from Lizelle Lee. In the middle overs, Deandra Dottin continued her blistering form to provide momentum to the innings.

Dottin got support from Sophie Ecclestone in the final few overs to help Originals finish on a total of 160/3. Dotting remained unbeaten on 68 off 30, with five fours and six maximums. On the other hand, Ecclestone contributed 24* off 17.


Laura Wolvaardt's knock scripts history

In response, Superchargers opener Alyssa Healy looked flawless with her knock of 25 off 18, laced with six fours. After the dismissal of Healy, Laura Wolvaardt steered the team at a lavish rate.

The skipper Hollie Armitage was a good support with a knock of 24. With 48 required off 20 balls, Wolvaardt displayed her incredible power-hitting to seal the highest successful chase in the Women's Hundred history. The 23-year-old hit 90* off 49, with the help of 13 fours and a six.
