It was the sixteenth over of the chase between SunRisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Gujarat Titans (GT) when the latter's chinaman spinner from Afghanistan Noor Ahmad sustained a blow to his ankle after a fierce shot played by batter Heinrich Klaasen.

He was seen in searing pain as the GT doctor walked out to attend to him and later, after a few minutes, he was taken off the field with one shoe off his foot.

It now remains to be seen if the injury is serious enough or not to rule him out of the season as the Titans now look towards the upcoming matches. Noor has played a major part for the Titans until now with 11 wickets in nine matches while bowling at an economy of 7.7.

Ahmad was having a tough day already as he was thumped for 35 runs in just 2.5 overs whereas Gujarat had a wonderful day on the field with a century from Shubman Gill and some outstanding bowling performances from their pacers Mohd Shami and Mohit Sharma.

Moreover, in the end, SunRisers lost by a margin of 34 runs and hence, were eliminated from the tournament whereas their counterparts with this victory sealed the playoff spot as they will now be featuring in the Qualifier 1.
