With a lead of 2-1 in the ongoing T20I series, Team India entered into the fourth T20I match with confidence. But that confidence became a nightmare when the Indian side faced Saqib Mahmood while batting first. He came into action in the second over and sent Sanju Samson in the very first delivery.

But more shockwaves left for the home side. In the very next delivery, he sent Tilak Varma back on a duck leaving fans in disbelief. Though he missed the hat trick, but bowled an exceptional delivery and the Indian skipper tried to play a shot but Curse’s sharp catch made his way toward the pavilion on a duck.

Incredible milestone For Mahmood

Mahmood’s incredible three-wicket haul in the maiden over has unlocked a historic milestone in his career. He became the first bowler ever to claim three wickets in a maiden over against India, a feat that also makes him the first English bowler to achieve this.

Along with that, he bagged another milestone. He joined former West Indies bowler Jerome Taylor who secured a triple wicket in the second over in the T20I match against South Africa in 2007. Mahmood’s incredible performance put on immense pressure on India as Jos Buttler and Co. is eyeing a second win to balance the series.
