The Hobart Hurricanes club in the Big Bash League (BBL) have re-signed Macalister Wright for the upcoming 2022-2023 edition. This will be the right-handed batter's fourth season with the Hurricanes.

So far, Wright has played 11 BBL matches and scored 184 runs with two half-centuries. Out of 184 runs, 149 came in his first season in the BBL back in 2019-20.

Excited to be back at Hurricanes: Wright

“It’s really exciting to be back with the Hurricanes again this season. Once again, I think we’ve got a really strong line-up and there will be competition for spots, but I think that's the hallmark of a really good team.”
