7:05 PM IST: Drumrolls!!! And here comes the fan favourites (and of course my beloved) RCB. Jason Behrendorff has been traded. Sherfane Rutherford, Luvnith Sisodia, Chama Millind and Aneeshwar Gautam have been released. What's left their purse, you ask? It is INR 8.75 crores.
7:02 PM IST: The Shikhar Dhawan-led side will have will also have to do some retail therapy on December 23 as they have let go of Mayank Agarwal, Odean Smith, Benny Howell, Vaibhav Arora, Ishan Porel, Ansh Patel, Sandeep Sharma, Prerak Mankad and Writtick Chatterjee. Purse - 32.20 cr.
6:57 PM IST: The defending champions will be without the services of Rahmanullah Gurbaz, Dominic Drakes, Lockie Furguson, Jason Roy, Varun Aaron and Gurkeerat Singh Mann. Remaining Purse - INR 19.25 crores.
6:52 PM IST: Rajasthan have stood by their core players, but they have released many players.
Notable releases - Daryl Mitchell, Jimmy Neesham, Nathan Coulter Nile, Karun Nair and Rassie van der Dussen. Other released players - Anunay Singh, Tejas Baroka, Shubham Garhwal, Corbin Bosch. Purse left - INR 13.20 cr.
6:45 PM IST: Delhi have been the smartest in this retention. They have all the bases covered and made a few tinkering in their squad. Who all have they let out - Shardul Thakur, Tim Seifert, Ashwin Hebbar, Mandeep Singh and KS Bharat. Purse Remaining - INR 19.45 cr.

6:38 PM IST: As we already know, KKR have parted ways with Cummins, Billings, Finch, Hales and Aman Khan.
Other released players - Shivam Mavi, Mohammad Nabi, Chamika Karunaratne, Abhijeet Tomar, Ajinkya Rahane, Ashok Sharma, Baba Indrajith, Pratham Singh, Ramesh Kumar, Rasikh Salam and Sheldom Jackson. Who all have been left in KKR' squad now.

6:26 PM IST: Lucknow have untied their bonds with the former West Indies captain Jason Holder and first Indian IPL centurion Manish Pandey.
Other omissions - Andrew Tye, Ankit Rajpoot, Dushmantha Chameera, Evin Lewis and Shabaaz Nadeem. Purse Left - INR 23.35 crores.
6:22 PM IST: As we have already updated DJ Bravo has bid adios to CSK. Apart from him, Robin Uthappa, Adam Milne, Hari Nishaanth, Chris Jordan, Bhagath Varma, KM Asif and Narayan Jagadeesan are other cricketers that have been released by the Yellove Army. Current Purse - INR 20.45 cr.
6:17 PM IST: News from the SRH dugout is Williamson, Pooran, Jagadeeesha Suchith, Priyam Garg, Ravikumar Samarth, Romario Shepherd, Saurabh Dubey, Sean Abbott, Shashank Singh, Shreyas Gopal, Vishnu Vinod and Sushant Mishra have been let go. Now their current purse is INR 42.25 crores.
6:10 PM IST: Apart from KP, MI Paltan have released Riley Meredith, Daniel Sams, Tymal Mills, Fabien Allen, Basil Thampi, Jaydev Unadkat, Anmolpreet Singh, Mayank Markande, Rahul Buddhi, Aryan Juyal, Murugan Ashwin and Sanjay Yadav. Purse left - INR 20.55 crores.

6:03 PM IST: Romario Shepherd also reportedly released by Sunrisers Hyderabad.
5:47 PM IST: This is a shocker - the Punjab Kings and Mayank Agarwal wedding has been ended. While PBKS hold onto Shahrukh Khan. Odean Smith and Ishan Porel have been shown doors.
5:41 PM IST: As per sources, English batters Alex Hales and Jason Roy have opted out of IPL 2023. Pat Cummins and Sam Billings have also been let go by Kolkata.
5:35 PM IST: It was on the cards by still shocking as SRH have gotten rid of Kane Williamson and Nicholas Pooran. The Kiwi skipper last year was retained for INR 14 cr, while Pooran was bought for INR 10.75 cr. However, they are still reports.
5:30 PM IST: In a surprising turn of events, Lucknow Super Giants have reportedly retained the services of all-rounder Marcus Stoinis. With a price tag of INR 9.20 crore, a lot was expected from Stoinis last season, but he blew hot and cold. However, the LSG team management have shown faith in the Aussie and will bank on him to come good in the upcoming season.
5:24 PM IST: It was reported that the duo of Rassie van der Dussen and Daryl Mitchell have been released by RR. They hardly got a chance last season, so it makes sense to generate some extra cash.
5:19 PM IST: Reportedly, Rajasthan Royals' Devdutt Padikkal and RCB cricketers - Faf du Plessis, Glenn Maxwell and Wanindu Hasaranga - have been retained by their respective franchises. Meanwhile, there are also reports surfacing about Gujarat releasing Jason Roy.
3:00 PM IST: The most successful IPL franchise released Kieron Pollard, and later hired him as their batting coach.
November 14, 2022: Delhi Capitals trade Shardul Thakur, whose price tag is INR 10.75 CR, for Aman Khan with Kolkata Knight Riders.
Meanwhile, Sam Billings pulled out of IPL 2023 to concentrate more on his red-ball skills.
November 13, 2022: Lockie Ferguson and Rahmanullah Gurbaz traded from Gujarat Titans to Kolkata Knight Riders. The former was acquired for INR 10 crores, while the Afghan batter got INR 50 lakh in last year's mega-auction.
November 12, 2022: Mumbai Indians traded Jason Behrendorff traded from RCB. Last season, the Australian left-arm seamer has bought by Bangalore at his base price of INR 75 lakh.
