In what panned out as a walk in the park for India Capitals (IC), Bhilwara Kings (BK) succumbed to a 78-run defeat as the former prevailed in the fourth match of the Legends League Cricket (LLC) 2022.

Capitals' bowlers wreak havoc

In the bid to give his side a fiery start, the Kings opener Naman Ojha rocketed during the course of his innings. However, Pankaj Singh caused the early destruction with the new ball sending Ojha and his opening partner Nick Compton back to the dressing room.

Leaving no scope for a partnership to form, the Capitals' bowlers, especially Pravin Tambe, kept the Kings on their toes. As wickets fell like ninepins, Bhilwara had to throw in the towel sooner than later.

Eventually, the innings was brought to an end at the score of 120 as Irfan Pathan and Co. got all-out in the 20th over.

Mire, Masakadza sets the stage on fire

Put in to bat first, India Capitals were off to a flyer, albeit lost their skipper Gautam Gambhir in the third over of the innings.

Solomon Mire and Hamilton Masakadza led an onslaught as their blitzy 105-run stand dampened the spirits of Bhilwara Kings.

Yusuf Pathan struck thrice but Mire's 38-ball 82 helped the Capitals' reach 198/5 in the 20 overs.
