Ishant Sharma is currently playing in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy for Delhi. He has made the headlines with beautiful delivery in the quarterfinal of the tournament after he bowled UP opener Karan Sharma with a brilliant delivery.

Ishant Sharm has been a hero of many battles for India, especially in the Tests. However, he has been pretty decent even in the T20 format and has one well in the IPL. 

Notably, Ishant Sharma has played for four different IPL franchises namely - Kolkata Knight Riders, Sunrisers Hyderabad or Deccan Chargers, Rising Pune Super Giants and Delhi Capitals. He was a part of the Capitals till IPL 2024, however, he was released by the franchise ahead of the auction.

Ishant Sharma: IPL 2025 Team And Salary

Ishant Sharma has been bought for INR 75 Lakhs during the IPL 2025 auction by the Gujarat Titans. Given the experience and variety to Ishant will bring to the table, one can say that it was a steal deal for the GT to get him at his base price.

During IPL 2025, Ishant will get to bowl with Mohammed Siraj, Kagiso Rabada, Prasidh Krishna and Gerald Coetzee. With these bowlers in their repertoire, the pace battery of the Titans look very strong for the next edition of the tournament. The Titans will be eager to capitalise on the resources they have and hunt down their second IPL title.

Ishant Sharma: IPL Stats

Ishant Sharma has so far played 110 matches in the Indian Premier League. In these matches, he has picked up 93 wickets while conceding runs at an economy of 8.23. While the numbers might not look extra ordinary, in the recent seasons he has shown that he can add a lot of depth and variety to a bowling attack with his variations in bowling and the experience of being the circuit for so many years.
