IPL 2022 | RR vs LSG - Fantasy Tips

RR will take on LSG in the 20th match of IPL 2022. Both the teams are looking well sorted in the tournament. However, the momentum of the two teams is very different coming into this match. RR is coming into the match with a defeat against RCB, while LSG won their last game against SRH. Before the teams' face-off, let us look at how we should go about building our fantasy teams for the match.

Untamed

Jos Buttler: Jos Buttler is looking like the most significant contributor for RR in their batting. He is looking in prime form and has been delivering consistently till now.

In IPL 2022, Buttler has scored 205 runs in 3 innings at a strike rate of 143.36 and RPI of 68.33. With the kind of form he is in, there is little or slight doubt that he will give big returns in the fantasy leagues.

Quinton de Kock: Quinton de Kock is giving starts to LSG. Along with skipper KL Rahul, he provides stability to the team's top order.

In the last 3 matches, de Kock has scored 2 half-centuries and looks in menacing form. After his firing starts at the top of the order, he can be a worthy addition to the XI.

Shimron Hetmyer: Hetmyer is playing little gems with the bat with few people noticing. He has had a brilliant outing in the 15th edition of the tournament so far.

In this year's IPL, he has scored 109 runs at a tremendous strike rate of 187 plus. Besides, his RPI of 36.33 is also very impressive, considering his batting position. The touch he is in makes him a very safe pick for the match.

Shilly Shally

Evin Lewis: In the match against Chennai, he played an unreal knock to pull off a near-impossible heist for his team. But let us try and find out his general performances in the tournament so far.

In this edition of the IPL, Lewis has scored 71 runs in IPL 2022 so far. Of these 71 runs, 55 came in the match against CSK. Without those 55 runs, his RPI in the tournament is just 5.33. Although he has an impressive strike rate of 142, his inconsistency makes him a risky selection.

Krunal Pandya: The elder Pandya brother has scored 46 runs at a strike rate of 153.33. Along with this, he has also picked up three wickets with the ball. But it has often been noticed earlier that Krunal Pandya often fails to perform consistently. His lack of consistency makes him a risky pick for the match.

Unhailed

KL Rahul: The skipper of the LSG team is leading his troops from the front. He is marshalling his resources well and is giving his team some solid starts as an opener.

In the four matches so far, Rahul has scored 132 runs at a strike rate of 129.41 and an RPI of 33. This shows that he is getting starts but is yet to play a vintage Rahul knock.

Deepak Hooda: Deepak Hooda is in the form of his life in IPL 2022. He looks like the finisher every team needs.

In the tournament so far, Hooda has scored 130 runs in 4 matches. He is playing some great knocks at crucial stages in the game. His presence on the team will give some valuable points. His consistency is what makes him a safe pick for today.

Stealthy Warriors

Ayush Badoni: People are talking about grabbing the 'Emerging Player of the season already. His composure and maturity under pressure have impressed everybody. He has scored 109 runs in the tournament so far at a strike rate of 156.92. He can be a beneficial selection for the team with fewer credit points.

Imposters

Andrew Tye: Tye has failed to pick up a single wicket in his last two outings. In the last game against the Capitals, Tye gave away 28 runs in 3 overs and looked ineffective. He looks down in confidence and so it is better to stay away from AJ Tye for this encounter.
